Der keyboarder Jordan Rudess der progressiven Rock-Band Dream-Theater demonstrierte auf der Winter NAMM 2009 Spectrasonics Omnisphere, ein Synthesizer Software-Plugin für Garageband, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Cubase, and Pro Tools. Dieses hat nicht nur zig Parameter und Features, sondern kommt auch noch mit einer 40 GB großen Sound Library daher.
Gut, ich würde mal behaupten, Jordan Rudess würde auch auf einer schnöden Bontempi-Orgel richtig gute Sounds hin bekommen, aber was man hier zu hören bekommt, ist schon beachtlich.
Wie man sehen kann, benutzt Jordan Rudess selbst einen Aplle MacBook Pro für seine Vorführung und noch ein paar weitere technische Hilfsmittel und sonstigem Schnickschnack.
